In silent howls she speaks to me
in flash of translucent tail she makes her presence felt.
Her tracks barely dent the moss, then grow faint.
The smell of burning sweetgrass & the warmth of a long-dead campfire stir my Wolf Soul.
"Elder!" I cry, frightened from the new shadows...
and I faintly hear her whisper "TwoRivers, my friend..."
before it grows silent once more.
If only I could learn each lesson over...
If only I would have stayed still longer and more often...
Could I have raised my head high one day to call her friend?
The faint memory of a tale, a howling lesson and her smile...

This is my beautiful, treasured soulmate,"Lil_Wolfy_Angel"...Isn't she a babe? She means everything to me *blushes* She is sweet, funny, beautiful, intelligent, and best of all she can put up with me (LOL) I should do something about her taste in baseball teams, however, (Orioles? ewwww) Just kidding sweetheart. ;) We met online, became close friends and then fell deeply in love with one another and continue to do so like we have for almost thirteen months now. We realize that we are lucky, we know not everyone can understand what we have...that's ok..
Babes I love you so much...I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. We've been through a lot together and it makes me realize how lucky I am to have a place in your heart.
